Tread Pattern & Technical Specs

The Hankook Max Performance Summer Tire (Ventus V12 EVO (K110)) is a Max Performance summer tire designed for sports cars, sporty coupes, and high-performance sedans drivers.

The Ventus V12 EVO is designed to provide comfort and control in both dry and wet road conditions. The Ventus V12 EVO, like all summer tires, is not meant to be driven in temperatures approaching freezing temperatures, making them unsuitable for winter.

Ventus V12 EVO radials feature Hankook’s High Tg Polymer & Specific Resin (HPSR) compound molded into a directional tread design featuring a Multiple Tread Radius (MTR) profile that combines notched shoulder ribs, independent intermediate tread blocks, and a continuous center rib to combine powerful braking with predictable handling.

The tread is designed to resist hydroplaning by directing water through the tire’s footprint. It has circumferential and Y-shape lateral grooves to assist with this.

The tire’s inside structure consists of two steel belts reinforced by two-ply high-density, spirally wrapped jointless nylon. A two-layer rayon casing wraps a hard rubber in the sidewall between the body cord plies to assist resist deformation at high speeds and while turning.
