Tread Pattern & Technical Specs

The P Zero Nero GT, also known as the Max Performance Summer tire, is a high-performance summer tire created for drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes, and medium-sized sedans.

The Pirelli P Zero Nero GT is the company’s latest edition of the P Zero Nero, which incorporates new technological advancements to enhance product performance and tread life. The P Zero Nero GT cannot be driven in any winter circumstances since Pirelli tires’ warranties do not cover compound cracking brought on by operation at temperatures below 45° Fahrenheit (7° Celsius).

Pirelli Zero Nero GT Tread Pattern

The P Zero Nero GT is constructed with a new compound with a balanced silica content to decrease wear without sacrificing the sportive feeling of the tire in both dry and wet weather conditions.

The tread is molded into a subtle asymmetric, wide rib design to increase tread firmness and resistance to deformation while improving grip and steering response on a variety of road surfaces.

The tire’s circumferential grooves are intended to improve dry road performance while also improving hydroplaning resistance on a wet surface.

The tire’s internal structure includes rayon body plies and twin steel belts reinforced by zero-degree nylon that evenly distribute footprint pressure and resist deformation to promote high-speed durability.

Wet performance

Pirelli P Zero Nero GT tires are designed for excellent wet performance. Thanks to circumferential grooves the water evacuates from the tire providing outstanding grip on wet surfaces and resisting hydroplaning. These tires also offer great handling and safety whether it’s standing water or heavy rain.
