Falken Azenis FK510 Tread Pattern & Technical Specs

Falken’s Ultra High-Performance Summer tire, the Azenis FK510, was created for drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes, performance sedans, and contemporary muscle cars who are seeking for dry and wet traction and handling.

As with all summer tires, the Azenis FK510 should not be driven in cold temperatures, in snow, or on ice. It should also not be stored or maintained in such conditions.

As with all Ultra High-Performance Summer tires, the Azenis FK510 is not meant to be maintained, kept, or driven in temperatures that are close to or below freezing, in snow, or on ice.

Falken Azenis FK510 Tread Pattern
Falken Azenis FK510 Tread Pattern

Adaptive Constant Pressure (ACP) pattern design is sculpted into the 4D Nano Design tread compound of the Azenis FK510. Wide, outboard shoulder blocks provide the horizontal grip necessary for performance driving, and ACP enhances pressure distribution throughout the contact patch for improved directional stability and shorter stopping distances.

The Switchback Siping assists in maximizing rubber-to-road contact during wet cornering, and the tread compound was created to optimize traction in wet weather. Water evacuates from the contact patch thanks to four large circumferential grooves, which prevent hydroplaning.

The Azenis FK510, like all summer tires, is not suitable to be driven in temperatures that are close to or below freezing, through snow, or on ice.

Keep in mind: Ultra-High-Performance summer tires are bent in any way, such as by changing inflated pressures, mounting them on wheels, or using them to support, roll, or drive a vehicle, they must be let to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24 hours.

Where are Falken Azenis FK510 tires made?

With the Falken FK510, breaking traction in the dry will require a strong desire because they hook on so effectively under high acceleration. These tires are made in Japan at the Sumitomo factory, which also produces Dunlop, which is a good example of technology and quality.

Is Falken FK510 directional?

They are not directed; they are asymmetric. This tire may easily be put on the car’s left or right side. For mounting, directional tires have a rolling direction.
